Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu
Meet the representative at Tribhuvan International Airport
and transfer to the hotel. After the check-in process, a short briefing about
the program for the week will be arranged. Later in the evening, take a stroll
at Thamel or enjoy a Nepali welcome dinner along with a cultural dance show.
Day 2: Kathmandu Heritage Tour
Today is dedicated to visiting the UNESCO World Heritage
Sites of Kathmandu Valley. Visit the monkey temple, Swayambhunath;
Pashupatinath Temple; and Boudhanath Stupa-each offering deep insight into
Tibetan and Hindu culture. Continue to Patan Durbar Square to see exquisite art
and architecture. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Kathmandu →
Pokhara (Drive or Flight)
Travel to Pokhara, the city of lakes and mountains. It takes
around 6-7 hours of scenic drive or a flight of 25 minutes to reach here.
Walking around Phewa Lake after reaching here presents a serene paradise with
peaks of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre in the background.
Day 4: Pokhara Sightseeing
Early morning sunrise view at Sarangkot, a place from where
the Himalayas can be seen golden-red. Then, after breakfast, visit Davis Falls,
Gupteshwor Cave, World Peace Pagoda, and lakeside market. Optional activities:
boating, paragliding, ultralight flights, or zip-lining. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 5: Pokhara →
Kathmandu →
Nagarkot
Return to Kathmandu by flight or drive. Later on, proceed to
Nagarkot, one of Nepal's best hill stations for sunrise and mountain views.
Enjoy a peaceful evening looking over Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and even distant
Everest on clear days.
Day 6: Nagarkot Sunrise – Bhaktapur Tour – Kathmandu
Early morning, enjoy the fabulous sunrise over the
Himalayas. Then, after having your breakfast, drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square
to explore medieval art, temples, and pottery squares, and recognize
traditional Newari culture. Afterwards, drive back to Kathmandu and enjoy free
time, either shopping around or relaxing.
Day 7: Departure Spend the day at leisure depending on your
flight schedules before being transferred to the airport.
