Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu

Today is 3rd day of Everest base camp trekking.

Today is 10/15/2009, we are in Namche Bazaar. For our client today one of the best unforgettable day in his/her life because of the spectacular view of mother goddess mountain of Amadablam and world highest mountain. This day is exiting day entire of Everest trekking, after breakfast our trekking start with steep stone staircase to strait up to the ridge of the Namche bazaar. The trail turns into easy and dusty trail. We are in next ridge, from here you can see great view of the mount Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Thamserku , Island peak and Tawache peak and more. This is best point to see the major mountains of the Everest trekking in Everest region.

I think every trekkers know about Everest trekking and world majestic high mountains that’s why they dreaming to come here, now their dream in a reality.  In mountain weather has vital role. If weather is bad trekking is unsuccessful, if weather is good trekking is success. After the picture break we continuous one and half hour to Sannasa village. We have here tea and coffee.  From here the trail split one is upper trail for Gokyo lake chola pass trekking route and down trail flow to the Everest base camp trekking. Today we are going to Everest base camp trekking so that we flow the down trail to the Dudhakosi rive. After one and half hour walking we are in bank of the Dudhakosi River. We have lunch here. After the lunch two hour climb to the Tenboche monastery. Now nearly afternoon three o’ clock. After tea and coffee we are ready to go explore around tengboche monastery and wait for sunrise in Mount Everest and Amadablam and more mountains. Today is finished our all activities and ready for tomorrow. Good night.

Nepal is the small country but we are very rich in Culture. In Nepal 63 ethnic group and their own different dialogue. They have own festivals and customs. The holi festival is delicate Hindus god lord Kirshana. He is reincarnation   of lord Bishnu. The holi festival celebrates the death of   witch holica. The holica supposed to have power to safe form the fire. She attends much time to kill her nephew who is keen devotees of Lord Kirshana. At last she put boy in her lap and set down in a fire but unfortunately the result is unexpected the young boy is totally safe and holica is burn by fire. The major rites of this festival are holica the witch woman is dead.

The first day is holi start the rising in the chir pole the hour of moon in front of the Kumari house Hamuman Dhoka. That day start plays the color each other to exchange happiness and brotherhood.

The full moon is the main day of holi. This day is great festival of Hindus or non Hindus people. The celebrate to put color each other. The read color is the  faith color of Hindu.This day people through the color , water from house to house.

Today we are in Namche Bazaar

Today is 12-21-2009. Today we have planned to walk until Namche bazaar. Namche bazaar is the getaway of the   Mount Everest trekking. Now we are in Phakding. After the breakfast we start walk via Phakding village. The end of the Phakding village I take the picture of Dudhakoshi river and village of TokTok. Please have looked this picture below.

We have continued walking two and half hour walking to Monjo village. This village is the entrance of the Sagarmatha National park. Here every trekker has to pay Rs 1000 entrance fee.  The Sagarmatha National park has a small information center and Khumbu region. You can observe here biological map of high mountains in Everest region. Our ten minutes walks we are in long suspension bridge over the Dudhakoshi River. Then we decide to lunch in Jorshalle. It is best place for light lunch before hike to Namche bazaar.

After the lunch first half and hour is up and down flow by Dudhakoshi river. For her you can see Bhote koshi and Dudhakoshi River joining place. Bhote Koshi River is starting from Tibet border and Dudhakoshi start from Everest base camp. Form here the trail start steep up by stone staircase. After one hour climb first time we saw a Mount Everest (8848m) peak. This is first glimpse of Mount Everest with great hope. Today is the first hard day in Everest trekking. After the water break again we start slowly climb with dust trail. One and 20m hard waking we reach in Namche Bazaar. 

Namche bazaar is the renowned places for Everest trekking. It is get way of the Everest trekking.  When trekkers reach in Namche bazaar they are felling a kind of happiness in face. I think they are felling it is worth to spent monkey and time to come here. We have two nights in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization for high altitude sickness.The Namche bazaar is approximately 3350m above the sea level. Our journey will continuous for Everest trekking keep watch us.

Our client gets high altitude sickness in Annapurna base camp

Our client gets high altitude sickness in Annapurna base camp trekking

Our client in Annapurna base camp yesterday. Yesterday is 15-03-2011.The trekking guide is Dawa Sherpa. He call me we are in   Annapurna base camp. Today’s weather is   excellent in Annapurna base camp. Here is fresh snow in Annapurna base camp; the lodge owner said yesterday was snow fallen here. He said afternoon is covered by cloud in base camp.  Again he phone to me our client is sick and very tired; I think it is high altitude sickness he said.

The client can’t walk we have to do helicopter rescue.  I request to give phone to the guest. Also guest want to rescue but he said I can’t afford rescue helicopter charge. He request to talk with insurance company. Insurance company contact to Helicopter Company. 14 march  afternoon the insurance company allow to rescue  him but it is two o’clock noon  mountains are already cover by cloud. The helicopter company decide to fly tomorrow early in the morning but in Base camp today is very windy  it is not possible to land  heli in Annapurna base camp so that they decide to  walk down. Afternoon  the are in Deurali. In Deurali we have phone contact. Again the insurance company talks with guest then they decide tomorrow heli will pick up form Deurali.  Today 16March 16, 2011 helicopter rescue from Deurali to Pokhara then Kathmandu. He arrives in Kathmandu at 10 o’clock then carrying by ambulance to the SIWE clinic travel medicine center Lazimpat. The medical doctor is check up him.  He said you don’t need to hospitalize here your body became a normal. You had good decision to rescue the helicopter the doctor said. The helicopter charge is one hour 2500 USD for Annapurna base camp 2 hour and 45m.

Now he is resting in Hotel. Every things are OK.  Tomorrow he fly Kathmandu to Bangkok. I wish have a nice journey.

Everest Kalapather Trekking

Today is Jan21, 2009. We are in Lobuche.  According to our itinerary today our destination is Gorakhashe and day hike to Kalapatter. Today is very hard day for client because we have to sleep above the 5000m. After the breakfast we start to walk for Gorkhashep.  First one hour walk is the quite slope with grassland. The yak is grazing in grassland. You may want to take picture yak and mountains. Our group one member quite tried and he has little bite headed but we continuous our journey. Left two hours walk is quite hard. We have to walk in moraine and near by stream.  After three hour walk we are in Gorakhashep. We have one hour rest here for light lunch because we have to climb the kalapatter.

Our group one member decides to stay in lodge because of headed.  We are ready to climb kalapatter(5555m). We have just water, warm clothe and camera in day bags.  I decide one Sherpa left in Gorakhashep for take care for him. We started at 10;30 AM  to climb Kalapatter. After two and half hour we reach in Kalapatter. It is very hard waking. It is very important destination for our client. The are spending money and time for coming here. Who is success to step in kalapatter on their foot they will feel getting achievement of life. Form kalapatter we can see massive Mount Everest and another world high mountains. You can see down Everest base camp and Khumbu glacier. Kalaptter is the lies on lap of the Mount Pumori. In Kalapatter the winds blow strong after the noon.  The cold strong wind 15m is enough to stay here.  We headed down to the Gorkhashep. After one hour walk we are in Gorkhashep.

Rest Day in Namche Bazaar.

Today is Oct 18, 2008, we have rest day in Namche bazaar. Today our third day for Everest base camp trek. Today is our rest day for acclimatization with high altitude sickness. For acclimatization of high altitude we have plan to day hiking to the Syangboche village.

Namche bazaar is the getaways of the Mount Everest trekking. This town is the biggest until Everest base camp trek. Here you can get all kind of facilities such as telephone, fax, internet, bank, ATM, pup bar and shopping mountain clothes and equipment.

After breakfast we start to walk syangboche village.  This day is very exciting day for trekkers because they will see small part of heaven. Nearly two and half hour walking we are in Syangboche village. Form top  we can see Mount  Everest(8848m), Lhotse(8516m),Thamserku, Amadamblum , khantega , tawache,Khumbilaya etc.

The Everest base camp trekking is one of the challenging trekking in the world. Many trekkers making aim to challenge Everest base camp ones in life but it is hard to derive their dream in true.  When the trekkers are in Syangboche village they feel our dream for Everest base camp trek is almost in true. Here we can see mountains view better than Everest base camp.

In Syanboche we have tea coffee in Everest view hotel. This hotel gives stunning view of Mt Everest and amadablum.

After tea and coffee, we headed down to the Namche bazaar. Have a lunch. Afternoon free time. Evening dinner.  Todays or activities are finished according to our plan.  Ok this is enough for today. Goodnight. Our journey is continuous  for Everest base camp.

Yesterday was rain in Kathmandu valley. Today is very excellent in weather in Kathmandu valley. After this rain Kathmandu temperature going to be increase soon.  Today sun light is very strong. I had taken this picture morning eight o'clock, please have look. 

Everest Trekking

Today is Oct 27, 2008. Today my trekking is start from Kathmandu to Everest base camp with my client. Today I can’t sleep well because I am little bite exiting, also little bite worry about weather of Lukla airport.  Our Lukla   Sherpa notify to me today weather is excellent. I feel am lucky today we have flight on time. Now 08:26 AM we are in Lukla airport. Dear adventure lover you can see Lukla airport.

We have tea coffee in Lukla at tea house which tea house I used to stay when I am in Everest trekking. I have managed all porter and Sherpa for carrying trekker’s luggage.

Our journey for Everest base camp trekking is ready to start from Lukla. You know that Everest trekking region is world renowned trekking area. In this region world highest peaks are main attractions such as Mount Everest, Lhotse, Cho You and Makalu. In this region two trekking route are most of trekkers visit. One is Everest Gokyo Chola pass trekking another is Everest base camp. The both trekking starting point is Lukla.

Our groups are ready to walk for Everest base camp trek. Today we are staying in Pkhading Snow Land Lodge. Our journey will continuous

Kathmandu valley is Raining now

In this movement Kathmandu valley is raining. The Kathmandu valey tempreture is coming down. Yesterday was a very warm day. I can easily predict the Kathmandu valley weather because of cloud shape and height. I think Kathmandu valley rain is couldn’t stop for a while.

Losar Festival

 

Happy Losar 2011 (Sherpa and Tibetan New year festival)

The Losar festival is the new year of Sherpa and Tibetan. The Losar festival celebrate ingenious group of Tamang , Gurung , Sherpa and Tibetan people. The each ethnic group has different day and month to celebrate the Losar festival. This year the Sherpa and Tibetan peoples are celebrated Losar festival on March 07.

In Losar festival the monks are performing   in Swayambunatha  stupa. The lamas and monks in monastery perform a week long Nahankal Puja (worshiping ceremony) defilements of the proceeding of year. In two days before the new moon from one o, clock in the afternoon costumed monks at Swayambunath carry out a large idol representing the old year and tote it through the great stupa complex and farther down around the two knolls of Swayambunath hill which is called Bajra Hill. The head Lama Rimboche fatherly conduct the rites accompanied by intermittent drumming and horn blowing by monks all along the ridge. After the ritual worship the idol is afire then   returns to the main stupa and perform additional ceremony right before the Gompa which is nearly ends with the mass hurling of barley flour know as champs.

Now days the Lhosar festival celebration is appear in privately. The fourth of morning people appears in Bauddhanath  stupa with colorful dress and ornament with villagers who  is living Kathmandu valley before long time. Also they performs group dance and they will share greeting and wishes of happiness and prosperous each other  

The Tibetans people celebrate Losar own way and customs. They escort the large image of fourteenth Dalai Lama by monks and they put at the first level of great stupa. The monk  belief the Dalai Lama is the living god of Buddha. 

Everest base camp Trekking

Everest base camp trekking 1o days running. Today is Dec 02, 2008. Today we hike from Lobuche to Gorkhashep. We had lunch in Gorakhashep. After the lunch we start to hike Everest base camp.  The walking to Everest base camp is not so steep up but we are already in 5ooo m so that oxygen is getting thin. We can feel it because of oxygen it    is hard to walk at high altitude. The stunning view of Nuptse and Everest base camp we forget the all tired. We walk continuous to the Everest base camp. After 3 and half hour walking we reach in Everest base camp trek. The Everest bas e camp is   changing every two, three years because glacier. In Everest base camp glacier is moving down, it is the sign of global warming.

This view of the Everest base camp glacier every body make very happy.  Our client also feels very happy to touch the world highest mount base camp. Today is very nice weather I say thanks for god.

Right now Everest base camp temperature is 12 degree Celsius in afternoon in clear day. Evening and morning is – 10 degree Celsius in first week of December. This temperature is approximately can be up and down.

Annapurna base camp trekking

Today is 2010 October 21 mornings 06:47 am. I am in Annapurna base camp.  The Annapurna base camp height is approximately 4150m.  The view of Mt Annapurna 1 is stunning. I am very thrill to see this view of Annapurna range. You can see the sunrise in top of the Annapurna Mountain.   

This mountain is stand world 10^th highest mountains. It is 8091m high above the see level. You can see another mountain Annapurna south (7219m)Himchuli(6644m), Machhapurchhre Himal(6996m)and many more. The Annapurna first is hard to climb compare to another eight thousand mountains. Many climbers have lost their life way to climb.

The trekker feels very worth to come here spent time and lot of money. The said with out you and your crew it is almost impossible to come here. The said I will appreciate. I feel   very pride of born in Nepal.

After the sunrise in mountain we had breakfast. Now we have to say goodbye   to Annapurna 1 and Annapurna base camp. We slowly down to the Bomboo. Our Annapurna base camp trek will continuous.

Nepal Former Prime Minister is Pass Away

Nepal former Prime Minister Krishan Prasad Bhattarai is pass away yesterday. Bhattarai was the two time prime minister in Nepal. He is prime minister of the interim government. He has ability to mobilize the people. He has successfully leader in 1990 in jana andolan. Bhattarai brings an end to the 30 years old Panchayati government. His leadership the Nepal completely brings to the monarchy to a multi –party democracy. He is again elected to the prime minister since 1999 to 2000.

He is always honorable person for a young politician. He is always confident and true idealist person.

 We wish eternal peaceof the departed soul in the heaven.

Manaslu Trekking

Today is 11/06/2010, my 4^th day walking for Manaslu round trekking. My leg is very pain. I am so much tired because yesterday I walked 12 hour. Today we have to reach in Sama gaon until afternoon. After lunch we have plan to day hike Manaslu base camp.

Now seven o clock, we are in sallow. From syallow great view of Mt Manaslu. I forget all my tired for a while. I feel very please to   see Manaslu it is very nice shape of mountain.  One of the school teacher said from here samagaon is nearly two hour walking distance for a trekkers.

Manaslu Trekking 

After 20m walk we saw very beautiful grassland with Irish flower and green valley of Manaslu range. I thought few minute rest here and enjoy the great panoramic view or Mt Manaslu and another mountains.

With the scenic walk two hour is already elapse, we are in Sama gaon .We order Dal val Nepali food   lunch. We rest one hour in tea house. After lunch we start to hike Manaslu base camp. The first hour walking is very pleasant. We saw yak and sheep heard.  Also we saw some wild animal (musk deer and more).

The trail became a very steep and slippery. It is very hard to walk but we continue to walk. We are very near to Manaslu base camp. In Manaslu area suddenly weather is change. The Manaslu base camp stating snow fall than we stop walk further. We return to Sam Gaon in evening.

My camera battery power is finished in sama gaon.  I am worried about tomorrow because for me picture is very important because this is my exploring trip.  The tea house owner said this village we don’t have a electricity but some lodge has a solar power. He said today weather is very bad we don’t have sunlight so you can’t chare your battery. I feel very bad but it normally for villagers. They don’t know about television and move. They start work with sunlight and they will stop to work with sun set this is the life.

Our time to dinner. We had a dinner than we sleep with good dreams. My journey for Manaslu trekking is continuous
