Rafting in Nepal

 Rafting
Hang on your paddles while you are tumbling down the rushing river of the Himalayan kingdom through inaccessible canyons, dense forests, and along ancient villages you will enjoy surreal mountain views and experience the real meaning of excitement. A river trip in Nepal is a wonderful way to explore and experience Nepal’s natural and ethno-cultural heritage. Rivers here are regarded as Goddesses and are included in a number of Hindu and Buddhist religious rituals. Many can be witnessed during a raft adventure. Rafting in Nepal is a great experience in it’s own right the thrill of running white water rapids can be as exhilarating as reaching a mountain summit

Nepales river can be grouped into three categories on the basis of their origin
 Antecedent to the Himalayans
Below the mahabharat
 Below the chria range
The major river system the koshi the karnali and the gandaki belong to the first grop. Rivers Originating from the Mahabharat Range which cut through the churia hills come under the second group. These include the karnali bagmati ka,ala etc.
The third group of river originates from the southern face of the churia hills
We have explored all of the blustering rivers to seek for the best potential rafting routes. Experience the exciting thrill of wild water in an impressing wilderness below we made a selection varying in grade, duration and scenery

Trisuli
The Trisuli is the most easily accessible and the most popular rafting river. Trips here can be designed for various time frames. Easily reached from Kathmandu and pokhara descents can be extended into the Royal chitwan National park. Moreover this river is popular with intermediate kayakers.

Sun kodhi

Sun koshi has been classified as one of the ten best rafting river in the world. Big rapids warm water no roads or civilization. Extraordinary scenery and great camping spots make this a classic multi day  river trip. The most common put in point of the sun koshi river trip is Dolalght a three hour drive east from Kathmandu. At the outset, the river is peaceful and the first day’s rafting is relatively easy. The sun koshi traverses the mahabharat range and follows one of the main geological fault lines of the Himalayan. This is also an excellent trip for intermediate and advanced kayakers.

 Seti
The short seti River flushes as an ideal introduction to rafting . This is a really pleasant and picturesque 1 to 3 day trip with no big rapids but plenty of friendly small ones. From the put in point at Damauli ( 2 hour drive from pokhara)the seti merges into the trisuli on the second day. This trip offers beautiful mountain views of the Annapurna south fishtail and Lamjung Himal .
