A major search and rescue operation is underway in northern Pakistan after an avalanche reportedly struck Broad Peak, one of the world’s highest and most challenging mountains. The incident has left renowned Nepali mountaineer Nirmal “Nims” Purja and nine other climbers missing, raising serious concern among the global climbing community.
