 Day 1: Kathmandu  Lukla  Phakding

Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (about 45 minutes), then trek to Phakding (2,610 m) by crossing several suspension bridges and hikers' trails along the Dudh Koshi River.

Day 2: Phakding  Namche Bazaar

Via pine and rhododendron forests, across high bridges, and into Sagarmatha National Park, you reach the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar, at 3,440 meters above sea level.

Day 3: Acclimatization in Namche

Explore the area: day hikes might include the Everest View Hotel, Khumjung village, and Sherpa culture spots.

Day 4: Namche  Tengboche (via Khumjung)

Trek to Khumjung and continue to Tengboche at 3,860 meters, a place famous for its large monastery and brilliant views of Ama Dablam.

Day 5: Tengboche  Dingboche

Descend into the Imja Khola valley, then climb gradually to Dingboche at 4,410 meters, passing through forests and small settlements.

Day 6: Acclimatization in Dingboche

Hike up the Nangkartshang Peak or the ridgelines nearby for acclimatization and mountain panorama.

Day 7: Dingboche - Lobuche

Trek over rocky terrain, passing by memorial chortens to Lobuche at 4,940 m.

Day 8: Lobuche → Gorak Shep → Everest Base Camp Hike to Gorak Shep (5,164 m), then to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m); explore Khumbu glacier.

Day 9: Gorak Shep → Kala Patthar → Pheriche Start early to ascend Kala Patthar at 5,545 meters for sunrise views over Everest, then descend to Pheriche at 4,210 meters.

 Day 10: Pheriche → Namche Bazaar Descend via Pangboche and Tengboche down to Namche again. Day 11: Namche Bazaar → Lukla A long but doable trekking day takes you back through forested trails to Lukla.

Day 12: Fly Lukla → Kathmandu Morning flight to Kathmandu; rest and recover.

 Day 13: Rest or Sightseeing in Kathmandu Use this buffer day for city tours, shopping, or relaxation after the trek.

 Day 14: Departure from Kathmandu Depending on your flight, do last minute shopping or any sightseeing and then head home.
