At the trail junction by the Mani wall, bear right and go up
some steps. These lead to a clear path that climbs steeply, goes throughout
rhododendron forest, and then climb in loops up the hillside to reach another
building at the entrance to a fairly level stretch of farmland. There’s an
insignificant looking trail junction at this point. Find a narrow path
climbing steeply to the right among shrubbery. It soon joins a more substantial
trail that leads directly to kukla 2860m: 9383ft about 1 hr 15 min from the Mani
wall junction above surkhe.
