Royal trekking

Royal trekking is in surrounding hills of Pokhara. Royal trekking was initially pioneered by prince Charles of England and hence it came to be known as the Royal Trekking. It is a moderately easy trekking. Trekkers while doing this trekking will get excellent mountain views of Mt. Annapurna, Mt Fishtail (Machhapuchare), Mt. Manasalu and others. Walking through villages of different communities like Gurung, Magar, Kami, Chhetri and Bramins will give experience of different lifestyle and culture of Nepalese people. The trek Starts from Kalikastan ridge, about 25 km drive from scenic Pokhara and ends at Chisapani 12 km west of Pokhara City. Royal trekking is an absolutely less traffic and lovely walking trekking trail.

Kanchenjunga conservation Area


Kanchenjunga conservation Area Situated in north- eastern Nepal in the district of Taplejung, the kanchenjunga Conservation Area is bordered by the Tibet-china in the north,sikkim – India in the east and sankhuwasabha district in the west, the area has alpine grasslands low river valley with temperate and sub- tropical forests. animals includes scarce snow leopard, Himalayan black beae, musk deer, red panda , blue sheep and rhesus monkey . About 252 species of different birds including impedance pheasant, red –billed blue magpie. shy drongo are found in the area.
Ten species among Nepal’s 20 indigenous gymnosperms and 15 among Nepal’s 23 endemic flowering plants are found in this region .in addition, almost 30 varieties of rhododendron species and and 48 varieties of orchids are found here.

Gautam Buddha
    Many years ago there was a king whose name was Suddhodhan. He was the king of  Kapilvastu. Kapilvastu is in Lumbini zone now . the queens name was Maya Devi.
   They had son. His name was Siddhartha Gautam. Later he became Gautam Buddha. Gautam Buddha found a religion which people called Buddhism. He taught to love and live . Now there are many temples of Buddha at Lumbini where he was born. There are many followers of Buddhism in Nepal and other many countries .

Nepalese Travel Trade receives encouraging response at ITB Asia 2012, Singapore

Nepal Tourism Board along with six Nepalese trade companies promoted Nepal as a premier holiday target among the worldwide travel trade and media during the three days travel trade meeting ITB Asia -2012 held from 17-19 October , at sands Expo and conference center, Marina bay sands, Singapore.
   Chairman of Nepal Tourism Board and secretary of Ministry of Tourism and civil Aviation, Mr. Yajna Prasad Gautam led the Nepalese delegation in the fair .while interacting with high level international media and travel Trade delegates; the secretary appreciated the growing confidence of international visitors in Nepal as not only an adventure aim but also a pests and leisure destination.

Deepawail final days called Bhai Tika


Deepawail final days called Bhai Tika, cewemony is practical. On this day, sisters worship their brothers and pray for their long and happy life. The sisters generally go to the brother’s house. they first offer puja to chitra Gupta and Yamaraj near the door of the house to ward off evil spirits. Then they put seven coolers Tika or mark on the betel nuts plant and durva grass and offer they feuits, sweets curd, eggs and other delicacy all set for the occurrence, those who do not have real sisters receive tika from their cousins or any other woman they give the status of a sister. After receiving tika, the brother’s offer money and help to the sisters and plead for their long and happy life .

Deepawail fourth days called Gobardhan puja . Is celebrated in different ways in different communities Some people worship their bullocks cow and other animals in the morning hours they worship in the hope that God would protect them from disease, accident and death these animals are highly helpful in a agricultural country like Nepal . Gobardhan puja which is worship towards cow dung is seen as very useful in Nepal, as in the olden days it was used for every thing from light at night to polish for the mud floors of traditional houses.
