Royal trekking is in surrounding hills of Pokhara. Royal trekking was
initially pioneered by prince Charles of England and hence it came to be
known as the Royal Trekking. It is a moderately easy trekking.
Trekkers while doing this trekking will get excellent
mountain views of
Mt.
Annapurna, Mt Fishtail (Machhapuchare), Mt. Manasalu and others.
Walking through villages of different communities like Gurung, Magar,
Kami, Chhetri and Bramins will give experience of different lifestyle
and culture of
Nepalese people. The trek Starts from Kalikastan ridge,
about 25 km drive from scenic Pokhara and ends at Chisapani 12 km west
of Pokhara City. Royal trekking is an absolutely less traffic and lovely
walking trekking trail.
