Shivalaya swiffly village

Shivalaya (1800m: 5905ft) is a swiftly expending bazaar village whose shops and lodges used to face to face one another across a single street. With the coming of the road all this has distorted, as there’s been a frantic spate of new building which has altered the nature of the village. The road to Bhandar passes above the village, heading further upvalley before teisting back to climb the slope towards Deorali .

Namche Bazaar is a small alpine town closely associated with Mt. Sagarmatha (Everest) – the tallest peak on earth. Namche is the salient gateway to the Everest region. Situated on the lap of the Mahalangur Range within the Great Himalayas, it affords a ringside view of the many orld famous alpine summits. Namche Bazaar is 240 kilometers north –east of the capital city. It is the sweet home of the legendary Sherpas, the sturdiest of the mountain guides and porters.

Tourist arrivals drop 16% in January

Tourist arrivals to Nepal via ari in the first month of 2013 declined by 15.9 percent , compared to figures of the same period in 2012 , mainly due to drop in arrivals from India , ongoing economic crisis in euro zone countries and political uncertainty at home . According to Immigration office at Tribhuvan International Airport, only 35,330 foreign tourists entered the country via aerial routue in January. In the same period last year, 42,031 foreign tourists had visited the country via air. The number of Indian tourists who make up nearly one – third of total tourists arrivals went down by 26.1 percent to 7,548 in January .Similary , arrivals from China – one of the fastest growing markets for Nepal – dropped by 40.3 percent to 3,958. Total arrivals from other south Asian markets like south korea and japan , however , posted positive growth of 11.2 percent and 16.8 percent to 3,265 and 1,993 , respectively . Tama Koshi river

The Tama koshi is a powerful river and has a volume twice that of the Bhote Koshi. The river has its source in Tiber and drains many high Himalayan peaks such as the Gauri Shanker and glaciclers like the Tse Rolpa. It flows 75 km before it reaches the road at Busti. Royal Bardiya national park is Nepal 's one of the best secluded areas in the Terai . It is dispersal over an area of nine hundred and sixty eight spare kilometers 968 sq. km  is situated in the mid far west of the Teraj area . Behind this area the Karnali River flows in close.Royal Bardiya national   park is the widest and most undistributed wilderness area in the Terai Region .In 1969, the area was specially set aside as a Royal Hunting Reserve with an area of 368 sq.km.
