Shivalaya swiffly village



Shivalaya (1800m: 5905ft) is a swiftly expending bazaar village whose shops and lodges used to face to face one another across a single street. With the coming of the road all this has distorted, as there’s been a frantic spate of new building which has altered the nature of the village. The road to Bhandar passes above the village, heading further upvalley before teisting back to climb the slope towards Deorali .

Namche Bazaar




Namche Bazaar is a small alpine town closely associated with Mt. Sagarmatha (Everest) – the tallest peak on earth. Namche is the salient gateway to the Everest region. Situated on the lap of the Mahalangur Range within the Great Himalayas, it affords a ringside view of the many orld famous alpine summits. Namche Bazaar is 240 kilometers north –east of the capital city. It is the sweet home of the legendary Sherpas, the sturdiest of the mountain guides and porters.

Tourist arrivals drop 16% in January

Tourist arrivals to Nepal via ari in the first month of 2013 declined by 15.9 percent , compared to figures of the same period in 2012 , mainly due to drop in arrivals from India , ongoing economic crisis in euro zone countries and political uncertainty at home . According to Immigration office at Tribhuvan International Airport, only 35,330 foreign tourists entered the country via aerial routue in January. In the same period last year, 42,031 foreign tourists had visited the country via air. The number of Indian tourists who make up nearly one – third of total tourists arrivals went down by 26.1 percent to 7,548 in January .Similary , arrivals from China – one of the fastest growing markets for Nepal – dropped by 40.3 percent to 3,958. Total arrivals from other south Asian markets like south korea and japan , however , posted positive growth of 11.2 percent and 16.8 percent to 3,265 and 1,993 , respectively . Despite growth in the number of British tourists by 6.6 percent in January, overall arrivals from Europe dropped by 15 percent due to slackness seen in flow of tourists from other European markets like Germany, France and the Netherlands.

Tama Koshi river


The Tama koshi is a powerful river and has a volume twice that of the Bhote Koshi. The river has its source in Tiber and drains many high Himalayan peaks such as the Gauri Shanker and glaciclers like the Tse Rolpa. It flows 75 km before it reaches the road at Busti. This is the normal put in point.This river is as exhilarating white water challenge the has been recommended only for keen kayakers who are capable of handling the ferocity of the waves. Experts warn that this river should not be taken lightly Tama Koshi Means River of copper ‘as there were copper mines here.The starting point is Busti Bridge on the way to jiri from where a long trek leads to Everest region. Locally the Busti Bridge is known as Tama Koshi and can be reached by car in 4 hr from Kathmandu. The river appeats quite tame in the beginning for about 1 km, but there are plenty of class. 4 rapids that appear continuously for the next 4 km. before reaching an island on it, both sides of the island have 5+ rapids. What follows is 5 km of continuous class 4+ that leads to class 5 on a right hand bend. It then eases to a class 4 and comes to the road bridge. From here until Devi Tar is class 4 after which the confluence with Khimti Khola is reached. The next big rapid is called Fatal Attraction and portage here is possible. The river then gets easier and by the time Chisapani is reached it is class 3. Another 4 km downstream is the Akase airstrip and 1 km further down the Sun koshi is reached.

Royal Bardiya National park








Royal Bardiya national park is Nepal's one of the best secluded areas in the Terai . It is dispersal over an area of nine hundred and sixty eight spare kilometers 968 sq. km  is situated in the mid far west of the Teraj area . Behind this area the Karnali River flows in close.Royal Bardiya national  park is the widest and most undistributed wilderness area in the Terai Region .In 1969, the area was specially set aside as a Royal Hunting Reserve with an area of 368 sq.km. In 1982, it was renemed as the Royal Bardiya River Valley. The best seasons to visit the park are fall October, November and spring mid February April. From late April the weather carries more humidity and experiences  frequent thunder storms. In the summer season the temperature rises up to 45°C and the monsoon starts from early June. The diverse physical factors together with the broad of sal, savannah forests and grasslands is home to 30 different animals , more than 250 species of birds and several varieties of reptiles and aquatic species.  Some of ordinary animals found in the park are wild elephant , swamp deer , blackbuck , etc .

Manakamana Bhagwati Temples

There are so many temples in Nepal . Out of them Manakamana is one of the famous temple of Nepal . It is in Gorkha district . It’s about 104 km far from Kathmandu. To go manakamana should travel by kewalkar we should pay Rs 475 charge manakamana is very beautiful village . Darshan comes from the Sanskrit word meaning sight. The pilgrimage to Manakamana is made by a great many people every year. This religious expedition to see the Goddess Bhagwati at Manakamanais hence referred to as Manakamana Darshan.  We can worshop manakamana Bhagwati and sacrifice goots and ther animals .
