Nepal traditional food Dal Vat (Rice and lentil)


Nepal’s traditional food called Dal(lentil) Vat Tarkari(vegetables). It is traditional food. It is quite healthy food. The lentil mixed different kind of beans and soybeans and the vegetable also mixed seasonal green vegetables. Now a day’s people opening Nepali restaurant, they are selling food with culture dance.   It is indeed good business. The foreigner people like to test Nepali food. You can get in restaurant verity of curry, for example Chicken Dal Vat, Pork Dal Vat, Buff Dal Vat etc.


Even you can find Dal Vat, in trekking area. I had taken picture of Dal Vat from Annapurna Ghandrung Trekking. It is very hygienic and testy. The vegetable is organic. We had spent one night in Ghandruk Guest House one night.

Nepal is middle of the Monsoon.



Nepal is the agriculture country. Nepal almost people depend on agriculture. The monsoon is the right on the door. The farmers are very busy to preparing the paddy field. The year the monsoon started good timing. The farmer is giving a god their appreciation. You can see below the picture the farmer plugging the field for preparation of paddy.

From Gorkha, the capital city of King Prithvi Narayan Shah who unified small states and founded present greater Nepal, You trek up the wild Budhi Gandakhi River, through rough gorges slicing between Himachuli (7890M). The trails are steep but the sight of the peak of Manaslu (8165m) and the trek towards the Larkya la Pass (5153m) are worth the effort. After the pass a steep descent into the Marsyangdi valley and a great walk back next to the river through small villages. The Manaslu Circuit Trekking offers a perfect combination of rich culture heritage, unsurpassed Himalayan beauty, and a rich mountain biological diversity. Day 01: Upon arrival in Kathmandu international airport, transfer to the hotel. Orientation of the trip. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu
Day 02: Drive to Arughat via Gorkha. O/n at camp.
Day 03: Arughat to Sati Khola. O/n at camp.
Day 04: Sati Khola to Labu Besi. O/n at camp.
Day 05: Labu Besi to Dovan. O/n at camp.
Day 06: Dovan to Jagat. O/n at camp.
Day 07: Jagat to Nayak or Serson. O/n at camp.

Nepal is famous in mountaineering field. It is best known in every corner of the world as the homeland of the Mt. Everest & other several series of mountains peaks.
