Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve is the only area in Nepal where
licensed hunting is allowed. The reserve adjoins Myagdi district and Baglung district, just
below the Dhaulagiri range in west Nepal. The reserve begins at 3000m reacher as high as
7,000 m . trees like fir , pine birch rhododendron ,hemlock, oak juniper and
spruce are available in the reserve. One of the prime attractions for hunters
is the blue sheep , which is abundant in the area. Hunters also get pheasants
and partridges in viable numbers for hunting. Other animals found here are
leopard, ghoral, serow ,Himalayan tahr, Himalayan black bear, barking deer wild
boar , rhesus macaque, langur and mouse hare. Endangered animals in the reserve
are musk deer, wold ,red panda , cheer pheasant and Danphe.

Dal bhat is a traditional Nepali staple food consisting of
cooked steamed rice or sometimes other cereal dhal and lentil soup dal . ts is
generally eaten twice a day mid morning and early evening .It is also called
dal bhat tarkari there many also be cueey mad of chicken got meat or fish . dal
bhat is often served with tarkari amix of available seasonal vegetables. Nepalese public plate, dal bhat is
an inexpensive and tasty meal to eat whilst trekking. If you order dal bhat at
a lodge or tea house, any extra dal or bhat you need to satisfy your appetite
is usually free. Porters sometimes refer to a hill climb as a '3 dhal-bhat'
hill. You may hear a Nepalis joke about 'double dal-bhat' for real hunger or trekker greed.

Parsa wildife Reserve
Parsa wildife Reserve is spreads over parts of chitwan,
Makawanpur, parsa and sub tropical mostly covered with sale forests, while the
hills are covered with chir pine. Khair sissoo and silk cotton are found along
water areas . the reserve provides good habitat for animals like wild elephant,
tiger leopard sloth bear, gaur blue bull and wild dog . other common animals in
the reserve are samara , chital hog deer barking deer langur monkey rhesus
macaques striped hyena, rat palm civet and jungle cat. There are 370 species of
birds found in the reserve, one being the endangered gread hornbill found in certain parts of the forest . other bird
species include peafowl red jungle fowl , flycatchers and woodpeckers. Apart
from birds and animals the reserve is also habitated by snakes like king cobra
, common cobra, krait , rat snake and python.

Namche Bazaar
Namche Bazaar is popular with trekkers in the Khumbu county, particularly for height is the gateway to the high Himalaya . The town has a number of lodgings and stores catering to the needs of visitors as well as a number of internet cafés, making it one of the few places in the region where trekkers can access the Internet. On Saturday mornings, a weekly market is held in the center of the village while there may also be a daily Tibetan market where clothing and cheap Chinese consumer goods tend to be the main articles for sale.
