How is the tea house toilet in Everest base camp trekking

If you are planning to Everest base camp trekking I think better to know about the toilet in the tea house. Normally in tea houses, there are two types of toilets you can find.  One is the Nepali typical style and another is the European style.

I think in Nepali style toilet you do not feel comfortable. In this type of toilet, you can’t sit but European style toilet you feel comfortable and this type of toilet you can sit. But the toilet paper you have to container (rubbish box).
Nowadays in the Everest region, you can get a toilet inside the room. Also, few companies operate deluxe types of tea houses.

If you’re traveling last of the November to first week of February I suggest taking a common room (outside the toilet) because at that time in the Everest region trekking the water is frozen at night time and morning  and a bad smell comes from the toilet to the room. But  if you’re using a deluxe  type of tea house,  I think it is ok.
Nowadays you can find an upgraded tea house in the Everest region. Many trekking agencies make mountain resorts in the Everest region. You can find upgraded mountain lodges in Lukla, Phakding, Namche Bazaar, and Pangboche. Also, we will offer luxury mount everest base camp trek.
