Petroleum crisis in Nepal



The Nepaloil corporation Limited only the authorize to import and sell the petroleum product in Nepal. The Nepal oil corporation limited established 10 January 1970 government of Nepal under the company act, 2021(1964). NOC can store 30,000 KL petroleum products in different development regions of Nepal.
You know that Nepal is the land lock country of the south Asia. It is depend on India for supply and distribution of petroleum product. Since two weeks the petroleum product are scarcity in Nepal. Now days for 5litter petrol we have to wait 5h in hot noon.
The NOC managing director said the petroleum product rise in world wide. We have to increase 6 rupees in petrol for make a balance in international price.

He said government commitment to give aid to NOC that’s why recently we are not increasing the price of petroleum product.
But the petroleum stand is almost empty. They are writing petrol chhaina(no petrol). Also the director said the IOC cut the quantity of the petroleum product because of credit. He said we have huge amount of credit to pay IOC.
I thing this crisis of petrol is continue this week also.

Madhpur Thimi Biscket Jatra(festival




Thimi people are very energetic and active to preserve the tradition and culture in Newari community. In year they will celebrate 30 different type of festival in Thimi. The Bisket Jatra is the second biggest festival in Thimi. Now a days Thimi Bisket festival is renown in the Nepal. The festival is instituted byJagat Jyoti Malla in the early 1600s in which balkumari. The Thimi bisket Jatra known as a Sindur Jatra, Thimi Balkumari Jatra 32 chariot jatra etc.
The second morning the young people around the Thimi and nearby to the village carrying a each group Khat(chariot)  with image of different gods and goddess. As the 32 Khats whirl around the temple, red powder are hurled at them.

The legend of the Thimi Bisket Jatra is in Thimi Rajkumari killed the snake. In the happy occasion Thimi people start to calibration as a festival.

Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu



Pashupatinath temple is the one of the sacred temple for Hindus religion. It is bank of the holy river Bagmati. The Bagmati River has very less water. It is almost drought of water source. Now days very hard to swept the burn body ash in the Bagmati River.  Pashupatinath is Nepal’s most renowned Hindu cremation site. The temple of pashupatinath is Nepal most sacred hind shrine and one of the subcontinents great shiva sites. Pashupatinath beside the sacred Bagmati River is the holiest place in Nepal. The place where pashupatinath is located is called gaurighat Kathmandu . people often say the location as Gaushala Gayabage swori etc.

Today is 3rd day of Everest base camp trekking.



Today is 10/15/2009, we are in Namche Bazaar. For our client today one of the best unforgettable day in his/her life because of the spectacular view of mother goddess mountain of Amadablam and world highest mountain. This day is exiting day entire of Everest trekking, after breakfast our trekking start with steep stone staircase to strait up to the ridge of the Namche bazaar. The trail turns into easy and dusty trail. We are in next ridge, from here you can see great view of the mount Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Thamserku , Island peak and Tawache peak and more. This is best point to see the major mountains of the Everest trekking in Everest region.

I think every trekkers know about Everest trekking and world majestic high mountains that’s why they dreaming to come here, now their dream in a reality.  In mountain weather has vital role. If weather is bad trekking is unsuccessful, if weather is good trekking is success. After the picture break we continuous one and half hour to Sannasa village. We have here tea and coffee.  From here the trail split one is upper trail for Gokyo lake chola pass trekking route and down trail flow to the Everest base camp trekking. Today we are going to Everest base camp trekking so that we flow the down trail to the Dudhakosi rive. After one and half hour walking we are in bank of the Dudhakosi River. We have lunch here. After the lunch two hour climb to the Tenboche monastery. Now nearly afternoon three o’ clock. After tea and coffee we are ready to go explore around tengboche monastery and wait for sunrise in Mount Everest and Amadablam and more mountains. Today is finished our all activities and ready for tomorrow. Good night.

The Holi color festival in Nepal



Nepal is the small country but we are very rich in Culture. In Nepal 63 ethnic group and their own different dialogue. They have own festivals and customs. The holi festival is delicate Hindus god lord Kirshana. He is reincarnation   of lord Bishnu. The holi festival celebrates the death of   witch holica. The holica supposed to have power to safe form the fire. She attends much time to kill her nephew who is keen devotees of Lord Kirshana. At last she put boy in her lap and set down in a fire but unfortunately the result is unexpected the young boy is totally safe and holica is burn by fire. The major rites of this festival are holica the witch woman is dead.

The first day is holi start the rising in the chir pole the hour of moon in front of the Kumari house Hamuman Dhoka. That day start plays the color each other to exchange happiness and brotherhood.
The full moon is the main day of holi. This day is great festival of Hindus or non Hindus people. The celebrate to put color each other. The read color is the  faith color of Hindu.This day people through the color , water from house to house.

Today we are in Namche Bazaar


Today is 12-21-2009. Today we have planned to walk until Namche bazaar. Namche bazaar is the getaway of the   Mount Everest trekking. Now we are in Phakding. After the breakfast we start walk via Phakding village. The end of the Phakding village I take the picture of Dudhakoshi river and village of TokTok. Please have looked this picture below.

We have continued walking two and half hour walking to Monjo village. This village is the entrance of the Sagarmatha National park. Here every trekker has to pay Rs 1000 entrance fee.  The Sagarmatha National park has a small information center and Khumbu region. You can observe here biological map of high mountains in Everest region. Our ten minutes walks we are in long suspension bridge over the Dudhakoshi River. Then we decide to lunch in Jorshalle. It is best place for light lunch before hike to Namche bazaar.
After the lunch first half and hour is up and down flow by Dudhakoshi river. For her you can see Bhote koshi and Dudhakoshi River joining place. Bhote Koshi River is starting from Tibet border and Dudhakoshi start from Everest base camp. Form here the trail start steep up by stone staircase. After one hour climb first time we saw a Mount Everest (8848m) peak. This is first glimpse of Mount Everest with great hope. Today is the first hard day in Everest trekking. After the water break again we start slowly climb with dust trail. One and 20m hard waking we reach in Namche Bazaar. 

Namche bazaar is the renowned places for Everest trekking. It is get way of the Everest trekking.  When trekkers reach in Namche bazaar they are felling a kind of happiness in face. I think they are felling it is worth to spent monkey and time to come here. We have two nights in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization for high altitude sickness.The Namche bazaar is approximately 3350m above the sea level. Our journey will continuous for Everest trekking keep watch us.

Our client gets high altitude sickness in Annapurna base camp


Our client gets high altitude sickness in Annapurna base camp trekking
Our client in Annapurna base camp yesterday. Yesterday is 15-03-2011.The trekking guide is Dawa Sherpa. He call me we are in   Annapurna base camp. Today’s weather is   excellent in Annapurna base camp. Here is fresh snow in Annapurna base camp; the lodge owner said yesterday was snow fallen here. He said afternoon is covered by cloud in base camp.  Again he phone to me our client is sick and very tired; I think it is high altitude sickness he said.

The client can’t walk we have to do helicopter rescue.  I request to give phone to the guest. Also guest want to rescue but he said I can’t afford rescue helicopter charge. He request to talk with insurance company. Insurance company contact to Helicopter Company. 14 march  afternoon the insurance company allow to rescue  him but it is two o’clock noon  mountains are already cover by cloud. The helicopter company decide to fly tomorrow early in the morning but in Base camp today is very windy  it is not possible to land  heli in Annapurna base camp so that they decide to  walk down. Afternoon  the are in Deurali. In Deurali we have phone contact. Again the insurance company talks with guest then they decide tomorrow heli will pick up form Deurali.  Today 16March 16, 2011 helicopter rescue from Deurali to Pokhara then Kathmandu. He arrives in Kathmandu at 10 o’clock then carrying by ambulance to the SIWE clinic travel medicine center Lazimpat. The medical doctor is check up him.  He said you don’t need to hospitalize here your body became a normal. You had good decision to rescue the helicopter the doctor said. The helicopter charge is one hour 2500 USD for Annapurna base camp 2 hour and 45m.
Now he is resting in Hotel. Every things are OK.  Tomorrow he fly Kathmandu to Bangkok. I wish have a nice journey.
