Annapurna base camp trekking is most popular trekking in Nepal. This trek Most of the trekking routes in the Annapurna region are well serviced by tea houses along almost the entire length of the trek. This is particularly true for the more popular treks like the Jomsom trek, the Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Base Camp treks. Trekkers should be aware, however that there is always the risk of being stranded by bad weather or injury/sickness between tea houses, particularly in the more remote parts of the trek itineraries. A good example is on the Annapurna Circuit where there is one very long day when the high pass of Thorong La has to be crossed. There is little or no shelter available for most of this day and some trekkers have been caught unprepared by bad weather and altitude problems. For the details information please visit our Annapurna base camp trekking. http://www.himalayastrek.com/annapurna-base-camp-trekking.php

Paragliding in Nepal
Paragliding is perhaps the most rewarding of short duration adventure sports given the fact that there is nothing between you and the scenery unfolding before you. This sport comes closest to flying like a bird as you share airspace with vultures, eagles, kites and other birds as you glide over Pokhara valley. In the distance lie the majestic Himalayas and down below are the villages, monasteries, temples, lakes and jungles, a true bird’s eye view and a fascinating one at that.

Nepali festival Holi
Holi is short Hindu festival tending to remain hostile other religions of
Nepal . Held in sheer respect of Lord Krishna
the well known epic tero of vagbad Geeta and Nepal’s favorite abatar of
Bishnu Holi joyously celebrates the death of the death of the
notorious demoness called Holika . This wicked woman , supposed to be indestructible to fire attempted numerous times to kill her
own nephew who was an ardent devotee of Krishna .
The first day of Holi starts with the raising of the chir pole about
the house of noon in front of the Kunari House in basnbtpur . This represents the particular tree fringed
with multinaughty youth Krishna hung
clothes of the beautiful milk maidens when
he caught them all bathing naked in the River yamun . The eight meter
bamboo pole is topped with three tiers fringed with multi color stripes of
cloth . The full moon day falls to be the heaviest with nomadic bands of
musicians playing the roads singing love
songs and hurling fistful of vermillion concentrate . The two poulur
lyrics newa juveniles go singing include holiyaa melaa tanchaayaa laa lyaase ?
and jhyaale chongu tukan maa wo he lyaase jita maah this obviously progresses
in intercity until the lowering of the chir pole late in the afternoon . once
the traditional pole goes down the mad crowd scramble for the fringe bith
of cloth . Than men carry the heavy pole
to Tundikhel parade ground where it is burned in a ceremonial manner , proudly commemorate
the fiery death of Holi . Playing with
color now comes to an executive end though some
communities particularly Indian Hindus home in Nepal called dhotiwals keep it up on a more
self-effacing scale another day .

Kusum Kangguru
Seen from a number of vantage points on the trail to and
beyond Namche, one glance is sufficient to know that this mountain is a very
serious climbing proposition . Located
south of Kangtega on the ridge on the Kyashar Himal which separates the valleys
of the Dudh kosi and that of the Hinku, this savage-looking rock and ice peak
has three summits : the main peak has three summits : the main peak at 5367m
(20,889ft ) the East Summits ( 5579ft:
18,304ft ) . Kusum Kangguru, whose name means ‘mountain house of three snow
peaks has a reputation for being the most hard of the so –called trekking peaks.
It‘s a complex mountain with five major ridges and as many faces (the west and
South – West Faces are seen from Thadokosi). The climbing is said to be
technicaly difficult, and it repelled four attempts by experienced parties
before the first ascent was achieved by a Japanese team via the South – East face
In 1979.
