Festival in Nepal (Gai Jatra)

Festival takes a place in Kathmandu valley, special in Bhaktapur. Nepal to Re-Measure Mt, Everest

Nepal want to preview of Mount Everest  because Nepal do not want to keep in confusion of height of the mount Everest. The office original Everest height is 8,848m but China and Nepal have long running disagreement over the height.

Nepal Festival Naaga Panchami

 
 This day in Nepal  celebrating in Naga Pachami on honored of the Naags, the serpent-Gods. This festival originated during the 11th century under the Thakuri dynasty. It is relented to the rain fall god rainfall god.The festival honored the ancient victory of the King, who is also tantric master.The Naaga in haven who is holding to the rain. The king did conjure to the Naags.This day worship to the Naags and compromise kindly  give insures there will no more drought in Nepal.

One day before Nepali people by the portraits and one the morning Naag Panchami attch in doorways and perform the Puja(worship ) according to scripture of Beda. Also give a food to the Naag, like rice pudding and dumpling and they will it.
